Old Enfield is the oldest neighborhood in the Old West Austin Historic District, originally subdivided by the Enfield Realty & Home Building Co. in 1910. It lies between Lamar Blvd and Mopac, bounded by Enfield in the south and Windsor on the north. Old Enfield features many old colonial-style homes along with new modern residences. Being just minutes from downtown, the commute from this quiet neighborhood to Austin nightlife is a short one. Pease Park borders Old Enfield on the east, offering trails and lots of room to spread out. Across Enfield Road is Clarksville, with its own grocery and restaurants. Austin ISD serves the neighborhood of Old Enfield.
