Manor, TX is a small town located just 12 miles northeast of downtown Austin. Named after its original Postmaster James Manor in 1872, this friendly community is now home to over 5,200 people. According to the United State Census Bureau, Manor, TX has a total area of 1.1 square miles. Manor offers residents a wide array of outdoor and recreational activities. Jennie Lane Park is located in Manor’s historical downtown and serves as the center of most community-oriented events. A few of Manor’s annual community events include the Manor Farmers Market, Manor’s Summertime Movie Series and Christmas in the Park. Manor, TX is also home to East Metro Park and ShadowGlen which features a 4-acre water park and junior Olympic-size pool.
