Located in South Austin, Barton Hills is a neighborhood bounded by South Lamar, Barton Springs Road, Capital of Texas Highway and the neighborhoods of Barton Creek and Spyglass-Barton’s Bluff. The area is nestled among the hills of South Austin along beautiful Barton Creek. Barton Hills is located near several unique Austin attractions including the Barton Creek Greenbelt, Umlauf Sculpture Garden, Barton Springs Pool and Zilker Park. Barton Hills was established in the 1940s and 1950s, but its construction and development continued until the late 1990s.
